Oil-free compressors

Air clean enough to touch your product

Scroll and water-lubricated screw machines for medical, food, electronics, chemical and packaging plants — where oil in the air line is simply not an option.

Two routes to 100% oil-free air

Elang oil-free compressors remove the risk of oil contamination at the source rather than filtering for it downstream. Which technology suits you depends on your air demand and how critical continuous duty is.

Oil-Free Scroll Compressor

Elang · Scroll

Oil-Free Scroll Compressor

Quiet, simple, clean and compact, with a novel shape and compact structure. Built around how these machines are really used, so you get optimal operation, genuine energy saving and guaranteed clean air.

Genuinely quiet

The scroll element's unique low-vibration action makes for a comfortable working space — quiet enough to run at night without worrying about the surrounding environment.

Energy saving by design

Multiple compressors are built into a single chassis, and multi-stage control runs only the optimal number of units for the air actually being used. That eliminates unnecessary running and saves beyond what frequency-conversion control achieves.

Minimal on/off losses

Energy-intensive on/off control is kept to a minimum. When air consumption changes, other control methods introduce large errors — the scroll compressor tracks it and keeps power consumption suppressed.

Easy to operate and maintain

Exceptionally quiet thanks to the slow speed of the scroll compression elements, and suitable for any working environment as WorkPlace Air System™ compressors.

High-quality oil-free air

Scroll technology delivers pure oil-free air, so your production stays contaminant free and you avoid unnecessary downtime from oil contamination later.

Oil-Free Water-Lubricated Compressor

Elang · Water lubricated

Oil-Free Water-Lubricated Compressor

Widely used in medical, food, electronics, chemical and packaging plants — anywhere the air source has to be genuinely clean. 100% pure compressed air is a necessary measure for both process flow and product quality, so you can produce high-end products safely and without risk.

Water as the medium

Water is used as the compression seal and cooling medium, which keeps running cost low. Advanced sealing and isolation technology means the compressed air stays cleaner — pure and oil-free.

Higher volumetric efficiency

More than 15% more energy-saving than second-level dry twin screw machines, and more than 36% more energy-saving than first-level dry twin screw.

More stable, less maintenance

Avoids the frequent, costly host maintenance that dry screw machines demand. Maintenance cost over a year runs at about one fifth of a traditional micro-oil air compressor.

Lower noise

Single screw with axial and radial forces balanced, and the star wheel rotating freely with the screw in a water film. The host components run smoothly at low load, which secures both low noise and durability.

No oil, no consumables

Compared with a traditional air compressor it saves lubricants and consumables such as oil filters and oil-and-gas separation cores — lower maintenance cost, no oil cost, and a more environmentally friendly installation.

Highly efficient elements

The water-injected screw element produces highly efficient, near-isothermal compression, and the element design ensures no oil can contaminate it. No risk of oil contamination means pure oil-free air, year after year.
